The cementitiousness of dehydration asbestos tailings(serpentine, 3MgO.2SiO2.2H2O) in different conditions was studied. The result shown that dehydration asbestos tailings have better cementitiousness in certain condition and it can be used in building materials industry. It was also found that MgO powder, fly ash or quick lime can improve regularly the cementitiousness of asbestos tailings.
